IT Helpdesk Support Specialist
POSITION SUMMARY
The IT Helpdesk Support Specialist will provide help desk support to all company end users on technical related inquiries related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
Job Type: Full-time
Position Status: Non-exempt
Work Location: Stockton, CA
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Respond to inquiries either in person, via phone, fax, mail and e-mail in a timely and courteous manner.
· Train internal users on new software implementations.
· Serve as the first point of contact for technical assistance.
· Researches and resolves customer complaints.
· Record technical issues and resolutions on IT log.
· Run reports to track, analyze and assess patterns when reported from internal customers.
· Install or change software to resolve possible system issues.
· Monitor and respond to work order requests in database.
· Keep inventory of all equipment, software, and licensed users.
· Assist with onboarding new users.
· Ability to solve complex problems quickly.
· Ability to think outside of the box.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Minimum of two years related experience or equivalent.
· Excellent customer service skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Travel occasionally through-out regions required.
· MS Office Suite proficiency: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
· Ability to work independently and be self-motivated, in an ambiguous environment.
· Ability to work primarily in an office environment.
· Highly organized and detail oriented; able to manage priorities and workflow in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, with superior level of professionalism.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
· Ability to climb stairs multiple times a day and be able to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds.
· Ability to sit, rise, kneel, squat, twist, pull bend multiple times a day.
· Ability to walk with items in hand, grasp and reach as needed.
